How does the study take place?

The European Institute of Finance and Management’s postgraduate programme allows students to study entirely online through a learning system, allowing them to complete their studies from any location. All you need is a computer and an internet connection. Online learning is qualitatively comparable to full-time study.

Students gain access to the study system after paying all or part of their tuition fees. The study includes subjects that are specified in the individual programmes. Each course is divided into three sections. In the first section, students will find study materials, presentations and recommended readings. Lecturers are available for individual consultations throughout the study.

The second section is the test section, which students take after studying the materials and presentations. The test contains open-ended questions for which there is no time limit. In case of failure, the instructor will contact the student, discuss the problem areas together, and the student has the opportunity to take remedial attempts.

The third section is the seminar paper, in which the topics and a template for the production of the paper are given. Once the term paper is completed and saved in the system, the instructor evaluates it and the student can continue studying the next course.

After successfully completing all the courses, it is the turn of the final thesis, which the student then defends online using the tools that have been used throughout the study. After the successful defence of the final thesis, the student is issued with a diploma and an exit certificate in Czech and English.
